Walking shoes?

Walking shoes?

Yesterday, my dad took me and my brother to go and get some ‘walking shoes’. I mean what’s the difference between a normal shoe and a walking shoe. I didn’t even know walking shoes existed until yesterday. Long story short, on Friday (This Friday) me and my family are going to Wales to walk up mount Snowdon. Mount Snowdon. A mountain. I can barley get up the stairs without feeling out of breath let alone a mountain. I am seriously the most unfit person on this planet. And yet I’m expected to walk up a mountain. Someone please tell me they’ve done it before and that its super easy (even if it isn’t really)! Because I’m seriously dreading it.

To make everything worse, I’m going to look like a muppet doing it. I’ve got to wear these shoes and a purple rain jacket. Although I managed to get out of wearing water proof trousers. Thank god! Guess that’s a good thing?! IMG_7851

I’m not very good at anything that requires you being fit and able. So I actually have no clue how I’m going to walk up a mountain. In ‘walking shoes.’ Isn’t any shoe a walking shoe. To be honest I thought you just climbed it in ankle boots and a pair of jeans. Apparently not?! What am I going to go?

I guess that little adventure is going to make a great blog post, of me probably doing really badly .Ha Ha ! I’m sure I’ll be fine (ish). Let me know in the comments if you’ve ever climbed a mountain or if you are going too and what one you are going to climb. I would love to know!

Shoe shopping haul.

Shoe shopping haul.

When I put my whole shopping haul together I realised it was quiet long. So I decided it would be best to put them into separate little categories. But I thought this would be better because then you all get more posts. So I thought I would start of with shoes, my favourite. Anyone who knows me would know that I own way to many shoes. Cupboards full. I actually think I’ve got some sort of problem. Whenever I go shopping I always have to look at the shoes. And it’s a good job because when I went shopping I found so many nice pairs that I had to get.

The first pair are these from Oasis. They were £40.IMG_7847 I would attach a link so you can go take a look but they don’t sell them anymore as I got them some time ago. Sorry about that. Anyway I love the little black strips across them. They are super comfy too! Which is always a bonus.  And I love the heel with the wood effect.

I think these ones are from oasis as well. And again I have checked their website but they don’t sell them anymore.IMG_7848 They were £35 ish. Technically they were only half the price though because me and my mum decided to share them. That’s the good thing about having a mum who has the same foot size as you! My favourite thing about these shoes has to be the colour, and the lace do up. I love it. If you did want to get a similar pair most shops I’ve been in have sold something similar.

When I went into new look I found these. For £4! IMG_7849What a bargain. However it wasn’t me who ended up getting them, it was my mum. But I still wanted to put them in because I thought they were really cute. The annoying thing is I find it really hard to wear this type of shoe because of the bit in between the toe. Anyone else get this problem? Surely it can’t just be me!

I always get a few flip flops from primark. I mean for 90p you would be silly not to!IMG_7845 And because I’m going on holiday at the end of next week I knew I needed one or two pairs. The only problem is they do fade out after a few weeks, but that’s all I need them for so I can’t really complain. I picked up these two, because I thought they were rather cute.

In primark I also picked up these little white strappy sandals. IMG_7846These are always useful things to own. I already own a brown pair, but the trouble with brown is that they don’t really go with everything. So to balance everything out I got a white pair. Because why not.  I’ve got a few outfits these are going to look really cute with, so I got them. And they were £6.

The last pair of shoes were these black ones with the back bit.IMG_7850 The only problem with them is that they have the in between the toe part, annoying.  But I’ll live. They are worth the pain and agony of wearing them though. I’ve got this little black dress which I know these are going to go well with.

I hope you all liked this post! Don’t forget to check back tomorrow for another.

Bye for now,

17 days!?

17 days!?

Just in case you were wondering, no I haven’t quit this blog. I know it’s been 17 days since my last post but I do have a reason. For one my laptop is still not fixed but hopefully that will be done soon then I can get back to writing properly. And I was writing some posts on my ipad but that’s stopped working now to. Just my luck. But that’s getting fixed at the minuet and should be done on the next few days. Thank god for my brothers laptop! But I’m going to have some pretty exciting travel blogs coming soon. I’m going to wales this weekend so I will do a blog all about that. And that will be done next Sunday or Saturday. I might do one each day but I haven’t decided yet so let me know what you would all like. And then the week after I’m going to Tenerife so there are going to be a lot of blogs about that. And there are 2 four hour plane rides involved so that’s going to be a lot of time to write blog posts!

So as I said there are some blogs coming up (as soon as I get my ipad back on Thursday), so don’t forget to check back for them. And I promise that on Friday my shopping haul, that I must have been promising for around 133334 years, is going to be posted. It has been scheduled!

Lots of love,
